Malaga competes for Christmas decorations with other Spanish cities such as Vigo, Madrid, etc. Its light and music shows stand out at Christmas.

Also noteworthy this year are the Alameda Principal, where 500 cords of bright leaves have been installed, Plaza de la Marina and Paseo del Parque decorated with sweets.

In the Cathedral this year a Video Mapping with Christmas scenes has been installed in the south tower.

Like every year large Christmas trees will be installed; in Parque Huelin, Plaza del Teatro Cervantes, Calle Alcazabilla, Plaza de La Marina, Plaza de la Constitución (can be visited inside) and Plaza Enrique García decorated with ornaments and LED lights.
